What a lovely, loving book for all children! A real gift - can't wait for the next in the series! I read this book to my 3 yr old granddaughter yesterday, and she was enchanted! She asked me to reread it 3 more times then had her mother read it to her 2 more times. She loved it, asked a lot of questions, and went crazy over the beautiful colors!

I love all the Laehli books but this one has so much fun interaction with the monkies and delves deeper into Laehli's village and relationship with her mother. Boys and girls will love the story. Highly recommend.
